25/05/2012 Race Night - now postponed to 20th July
Hi everyone unfortunately we have had to postpone the Race Night until later in the season as the cricket season has started so late for the adult teams we have been unable to sell enough horses so we have decided to wait until there is more cricketing spirit amongst some of the teams who have yet to play!
Very sorry

20/07/2012 Race Night - new date
Our race night is open to everyone and it is a family event. It is being held in the main sports club bar from 7pm. As the tote starts at as little as 50p you do not have to spend loads of money. If you can't attend please sponsor one of our horses which will be £2. We will be selling them at training sessions two weeks before the event. There are prizes for the winning horses. If there is a group of you going we can book a table for you - speak to Nichola or Jill. If you own a business you may wish to sponsor a race. IT WAS GREAT FUN LAST YEAR LET'S ALL DO IT AGAIN!!

Help For Your Business
For yet another year we are holding match fees at the same level. However maintenance costs and new equipment needs continue to rise.

We want to help your business whilst helping your Club financially. At Bournemouth Cricket Club we can offer you the opportunity to publicise your business through:-

Advertising Boards at our ground
Advertising on our new website which takes 120 hits perday
Advertising in our fixture card
Sponsorship of any of the Club's Team shirts
Also by way of donations to help us purchase new equipment such as new site screens or the refurbishment of the nets on Cricket 1

Please ring Malcolm Symons on 01202 432583 to discuss opportunities

100 Club Competition
Whilst the Club has an active and diverse fundraising programme, the Clubs principal fundraising initiative is the 100 Club. Open to Club Members and non-Club Members alike, participants purchase two numbers for an annual fee of £12. There is no restriction on the number of tickets a member may purchase. At each monthly meeting of the Senior Cricket Club Committee, two numbers are drawn at random. First prize is £25 and second is £15.

The winner of the grand draw at the colt's presentation evening was Pamela Webb who won £80 and Richard Cornish who won £30 well done to you both!

If you wish to join our 100 Club please contact Mike Jones on mike@joneshome.me.uk
